Amber Chand has been nominated to the Twenty-First Century Women Business Leader's Hall of Fame at Bay Path College in Massachusetts and will be inducted at this year's Women's Professional Development Conference on May 1, 2008.

The Twenty-First Century Women Business Leader's Hall of Fame concept at Bay Path College was conceived as a way to encourage and motivate students by profiling inspiring businesswomen for students to emulate in a virtual hall of fame.

Seven key characteristics for women's business leadership now form the basis for nomination to Bay Path's Twenty-First Century Women Business Leader's Hall of Fame:

Takes risks and assumes responsibility;

• Possesses an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit;
• Maintains an optimistic attitude that creates a positive workplace;
• Adheres to a collaborative management style that fosters teamwork as well as individual service;
• Serves as a mentor to others;
• Incorporates integrity, accountability and a strong sense of business ethics in her day-to-day management style, and;
• Values education as a way to learn new ideas, improve communication and remain curious and open-minded.

Amber Chand, together with several business leaders, will be inducted on May 1st, 2008.
